Ashby applications, filled and submitted for you

Ashby publishes each company’s open roles as data on jobs.ashbyhq.com. HirecraftApp reads it every fifteen minutes, scores each new role against your profile, and puts it in your feed. The starting watchlist includes 147 Ashby boards.

To add a company that is missing, paste its jobs.ashbyhq.com link on the watchlist page and it is checked and scored straight away.

The engine opens each posting’s application on jobs.ashbyhq.com. Some companies turn Ashby’s hosted pages off and only show the form inside their own careers site; when the hosted page is not there, the engine opens Ashby’s embedded form for the same posting instead, so the application still goes through Ashby itself.

Ashby’s forms have a few habits that trip up simple autofill, and the engine handles each one:

• A phone number box that sits beside a text-message consent choice is filled as two separate fields. Optional text-message opt-ins are left unticked.
• Yes/no buttons are pressed again until they stay pressed.
• Date fields are committed before submit, so Ashby does not lose them.
• If Ashby reports a field it has already been given as missing, the engine enters those fields again and submits once more. Any other error is treated as a real rejection, not retried blindly.

Custom questions are answered from your saved answers first, then from drafts grounded in your work history and the posting. Work authorisation, sponsorship and self-identification answers come only from your profile, and a self-identification question you left blank gets the form’s option to decline.

• If Ashby says you have already applied to that role, the application is marked Skipped rather than Failed.
• If Ashby refuses an application as spam, it is tried again automatically, about 20 minutes later and then about two hours later, before it is marked failed with the reason.
• If a CAPTCHA appears, the application comes back to you with the reason and a screenshot, never worked around.

Like every board HirecraftApp applies on, an Ashby application either waits for your review, with every field and where its value came from, or goes out on its own. On autopilot it still stops for a required question only you can answer and, on Pro, asks you on Telegram or WhatsApp. The same engine applies on Greenhouse, Gem, Breezy and Pinpoint.

Once Ashby confirms the application, its confirmation page is saved as a screenshot, together with every field that was sent and the resume that was uploaded. It all sits on the application’s own page, and on the tracker you move it from Applied to Interviewing, Offer or Rejected as you hear back.
