Privacy policy
Hirecraft handles the contents of your resume, which is personal by definition. This page states plainly what we hold, why we hold it, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and authentication data.
- Content you submit: resumes, job descriptions, and interview practice answers.
- Usage data needed to enforce plan limits and to find and fix problems.
- Payment metadata from Stripe if you subscribe. Full card numbers never reach us.
How we use it
- To generate tailored resumes and interview questions, and to match jobs to your profile.
- To run your account, billing, and support.
- To keep the service working and prevent abuse.
AI processing
Content you submit is sent to OpenAI to produce the result you asked for. Your content is not used to train models.
Treat the product like any other cloud tool: do not paste secrets, credentials, or material you are not allowed to share.
The Hirecraft email address
If you switch on the Hirecraft email address on your profile, application forms carry that address instead of yours and mail sent to it is delivered to us. We store each message (sender, subject, body, and the time it arrived) in your inbox in the app, visible only to you. A verification code that Greenhouse sends after an application is submitted is read by the engine to complete that application and is stored with it; no other content is read by software or by people, and none of it is sent to a model. Every other message is forwarded to the email address on your account with the original sender set as Reply-To. Deleting your account deletes the inbox with it.
Retention and deletion
You can delete individual resumes and generated documents at any time, and you can delete your whole account from Settings.
Deleting a resume removes its stored text along with it. Deleting your account removes your data from our application database.
